Actually I wouldn't doubt that the top couple games on the PS3 are above Halo for unique players as well.

The amount of people playing Halo 4 is depressingly low (me only playing it once in a blue moon isn't helping it out either >_< ).

Really the only way(s) to increase Halo's MP popularity is to release annual Halos (like CoD) and fix/limit the glitches, cheating, crappy lag compensation with Halo 4.

So Halo 4 won't even be on MLG? 0_o

Now that is surprising considering how competitive Halo 4 is (and the skill and teamwork required to do good).

Yeah my mates and some other competetive players I speak to all seem to feel that theyre done with it.

They generally complain regarding the

maps (some want smaller ones but feel theyre too big as they want to play fewer players),

kill cam,

the whole ordinance drops,

unlocking shizz,

instant respawns,

the fact that guns are spawning randomly which eliminates map control which my mates love in eg, Quake,

ranking system / loadouts,

custom games lacking..

Like, thats just what some dislike. Im not saying everyone does, you might read this and go "LOL DAFUQ WTF" etc. Be merciful :>

MLG were pretty annoyed too and 343 just wouldnt cooperate, unlike bungie :0

Sounds like they just want Halo 2/3 rehashed lol (and some of them are kind of dumb like "custom games lacking" even though you have the same amount of options as other Halo's). I love most of the stuff that was listed above.

The biggest beefs I have with Halo 4 is the crappy lag compensation system (which accounts for about 80% of my annoyance with Halo 4), no skill based ranking system, and I wish it had more unlocks (yes I know I'm greedy) and a paint editor for armor and guns.

BTW 343i doesn't seem like the type of people to not cooperate. Do you have a link to that?

I think this is the normal drop off you expect as people play through their Christmas presents. 4 of my xbl friends came online and started playing skyrim tonight, I assume they nabbed it in the sale on the marketplace. One month doesn't make a trend, id wait for next months figures.

Well that certainly makes more sense than 343 being uncooperative and MLG choosing not to have Halo 4 because of that.

Well it came from the MLG head himself..

Interest was there, but ultimately the support was not given due to Virgin.
