This is my first post since June2009. I was still leaning Nintendo and was definately a Ninty fanboy at the time. In fact I was one of the tried an true fans of Nintendo on the site at the time.

I can tell you exactly when my interest shifted from Wii to PS3. In September 2008 Sony implemented Trophy support and I became a Trophy whore. (I am no longer, I just couldn't keep up) I still picked up every first party Nintendo game that came out and played them but there was definitely a shift. That's why Sony ended up winning out.

None. I remain a big supporter of Nintendo, and the Wii had it's gems. Those gems was enough to justify my purchase but not enought to ''win my heart''

The PS3 was a overpriced machine that did absolutly nothing that the 360could'nt except maybe run multiplats worst. And I thought most exclusives were arrogant wannabe movie where presentation came before everything else, and those are only the memorable ones, cause most of them were forgettable.

I did'nt own a xbox360, so by default It did'nt win my heart. BUT they managed to make me think twice before dismissing their next gen consoles. I already have a WiiU and I will probably buy a other next gen consoles, not before 2014 tho, maybe later if the WiiU can pull it's weight with 3rd party. Before this gen, I never thought I would buy anything other than Playstation for my 2nd console of choice, but I guess M$ did a good job at convincing me that maybe their console is the way to go. But this could be seen as both a win from M$ or a loss from Sony.

Well back in 2008 it was

360 > Wii > DS

Now it's

PS3 >>> DS >> Wii

So yeah

Wii. Galaxy 1&2, Skyward Sword, Kirbys Epic Yarn, Smash Bros Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, Okami, Donkey King Country Returns. Even The Wii series has such a fond place in my heart. And then you have the Virtual Console like - wtf? It's just amazing. Majoras Mask and Super Mario World on my Wii?! Yeahhhhhh

PS3. No contest. Microsoft stopped caring awhile ago. The Wii was fun but it's just that. Didn't really compete with PS3 or even xbox in terms of quality.

I haven't enjoyed a console so much since the SNES.

Thanks to motion controls it felt new instead of looking new.

For me, the defining moment of "wow, now THIS is next gen!" wasn't the HD graphics of the PS3 and 360, it was swordfighting in Wii Sports Resort and moving a virtual sword accurately with my own movements. 

Xbox 360, I liked it so much I bought it twice :P

PS3 because of the great new exclusives that have been released so far.

Neither. I have a Wii, (Good 1st party) Had an XBOX, (Good overall design, nice interface and OS) Played a PS3 for a summer. (Good online, seems to have less lag to me for some reason than XBOX live)

So probably PS3,  it was the most seemless.

Though I've yet to play a game this gen that was on par to last gen and the gen before its' offerings.

To much FPS', waggleware and games that want to be movies so bad that they take it out on the gamer.
