Mega Charizard has ability Tough Claws which boosts power of physical attacks. It gains a boost in Attack as well

Anyone know if Pokemon Origin is subbed for English yet?

It shouldn't be subbed for at least 24 hours. Usually that's how long it takes for a typical anime episode. Could be longer due to be 4 parts. Official probably subs and dub will be released in Nov.

Now if every Mega Evolution gets a X and Y I can dig this

So Charizard Y is a more specially based attacker with Drought (now not exclusive to Ninetails in non Uber)
And Charizard X is a more physically based attacker that now has Dragon type (fans rejoice)

Mega Evolution advantage:
Positive Stat change
New Abilities
New Type leads to change in STAB / resistances

Mega Evolution disadvantage:
Loss of using any other holdable item
Negative Stat changes
New Type leads to change in STAB / weaknesses
