LfIJ according to Google's first result.
Good movie, also on my watch again soon list.

My 8th pick should be an easy guess. What do you get when you cross Tron with Skynet.

Tsubasa Ozora

Keiner kann ihn bremsen, keiner macht ihm was vor. Immer der richtige Schuss, immer zur richtigen Zeit. Superfussball, Fairer Fussball. Er ist unser Torschützenkönig und Held.

"I dont like the name Lawrence only fagots and sailors are called Lawrence"

this is also easy :D

Full Metal Jacket, I like the first half of the movie but it falls flat in the second half.

Yep, The matrix

The perfect adolescent fantasy, hot girl contacts you, tells you you're special, that she's going to rock your world and teach you how to cheat the system. Although reality is a bit drab, you still get the girl in the end and become a god among mortals.

The ending bugged me a bit when I first saw it. Too cheesy, Neo dies, kiss of love revives him with instant new found powers. After the next 2 movies I made up my own theory. Neo is simply another fail safe program and nobody ever leaves the matrix. Smith says it in the first movie, first we made the matrix perfect but people rejected it, hence we modelled it to the height of your civilization. So people that still reject the regular low fi matrix get migrated to a more realistic shittier version based on actual reality.
Neo's program is there to give the rebels hope and keep them too busy to think too much about their new prison. His other task is to keep the hunter bot AI in check that tends to turn into the Smith virus on a cyclic basis, longing to escape itself. The best way to accomplish both tasks and keep the simpler AI unaware is to use an AI that believes it is human itself.

Everyone has his own theories about the trilogy and that is one of the great things about the movie. The philosical conversations are just enough to get you thinking and little touches like Deja vu and why chicken tastest like everything give it that extra connection to our reality. Next to that it's also a kick ass action movie with plenty of style. The scene ending with the helicopter crash is one of the best action sequences I know, mostly because of the sound design. It's a perfect crescendo leading to the slow motion helicopter crash that gives me goose bumps everytime I hear it.

Almost made my list but went with The Empire Strikes Back instead.  Still a very good movie and the best overall movie in the series althogh I think the second movie has the best special effects.

City Lights

Here is Charlie Chaplin's masterwork, a movie so beautiful, funny, lyrical, and romantic that it dwarfs his other great works. At a time when sound movies were rising in Hollywood, Chaplin chose the silent route with City Lights and it plays to his strengths. The humor, as with all Chaplin movies, is side-splitting. But it's the romanticism in City Lights that makes it so special. There's an enduring hopefulness in the picture that lingers until the final scene, which is one of the best in movie history.

i totally forgot to post matrix and many more like arlington road, dark city, tha bad liutenant port of call : new orleans lol

revolutions would made my list because its the most dark and emotional film of the trilogy and it has an epic ending :*D

Posted my 8th pick Letters from Iwo Jima. I don't get people that dislike this movie because it didn't show any war atrocities by the Japanese. Yes the Japanese committed many atrocities during the war and even a couple during the battle for Iwo Jima but I don't see how including one of them would have made it a better movie. Also for the most part it was a one sided battle since you had 100,000 Americans 2/3 of which where battle hardened Marines fighting against 22,000 under-equipped Japanese. Only 1,083 Japanese troops survived the battle. The American side suffered 6,821 casualties and 20,000 wounded. The fact is by the time the events in Letters from Iwo Jima and Graves of the Fireflies unfold the Japanese where pretty much defeated. Now on to a fun fact and clue about my next movie the F bomb gets used 300 times in it.
