Forums - Sony - Will we see a Vita remodel with built in memory?

If Sony made a Vita redesign where it had built in memory (let's say 32 or 64gb) for $250 this year or next (I'm guessing the current ones will be $200 by then) would that swing many on a Vita?  Better yet instead of a price cut for Vita itself why not just slash all the memory card prices to half their current prices and introduce a $75 64gb card?  Do either of these ideas sound like Vita savers to you?

memory card is cheap... let people buy psCloud XD

i think slashing their memory card is a good start... and a cheaper tag price

Don't think we're gonna see a redesign soon. Cutting the price on console and memory will be a nice thing, but won't save the console. It's not about money, just like it wasn't mainly about the price with the 3DS. It's the games. They need to shell out money for GTA, MGS, FF, MH4, RE:Revelations and a bunch of other big games. This is the only way to save the Vita.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

Hopefully, so i can get one...

Built in memory and a 100 dollar price cut would do the trick for me. If they dont do built in then it will have to be a 150 dollar price cut before i jump on board...

Well I always thought it should have at LEAST come pre loaded with 4gb, then buying another 4gb card wouldn't seem pointless.

Uncharted GA is over 3gb If I remember correctly.

So it has to cost $99.99?

I honestly dont see both (price cut and 32gig or 64gig).

1 they lose a ton of money, i mean alot
2 No one would need one for awhile since you have enough memory, and their goes profit off them.
3 If they include 32gig, the price will still the same and the general public wouldn't kno (unless your a huge gamer like us!)

If Vita was say $199.99 and have a 32gig memory, then sony probably need 2-3 games sold each to make a profit imo

This is one of the Vita's biggest design flaws. They can't emphasize the digital distribution, and "Instant Game Collection", if there isn't any memory to download to. This also makes the bundles that come with game vouchers poinntless. They should at least bundle the system with a memory card.

Didn't sony make that with the pspgo? built in memory? i guess it wouldnt hurt.
