No. Built-in memory adds to the cost. That's a terrible idea.

A memory card price cut wouldn't help Vita sales either.

How about instead of a price cut, Just add a memory card of 16 or 32gig?

I personally feel if any price cut is to be made it has to firstly come from the system it self, Sony need to get the vita into consumers hands and a memory price cut isn't going to do that. People get the system enjoy it, will be more willing to buy a memory card when needed, not everyone will need/want lots of memory either so taking a loss straight up with it is a bad idea.

Will a price cut be enough??? Holiday it was $199.99 with a game and i think a free 4gig memory! That didn't help (it did but not massively)

I feel it would help, its the hoilday season and people expect a small price drop everything was down "$x" so during the sales people don't see it in the same light, but they need to have a pricecut along side a pretty big ip no point in dropping the price with a lack of games it would go pretty much unnoticed.

Around the Network

would the 64Gb internal stack with my 32Gb memory card?

i'd pay another $250 to have almost 100 Gb of memory and then sell my current vita.

Memory. Isn't. The. Problem.

Content is. Vita needs games.

Lower entry price. $250 w/o game is way too expensive.
Lower memory card price. Already spent $250? Now pay another $15-20 for just a 4GB card.
Lower software price. Already spend enough? Not yet, we have $40-$50 games.

Yes, you can get a bundle with all of this for $250, but the memory card is small and not everyone wants Ass Creed.

It needs $30-$35 software. 16GB card should cost no more than $25. Standard Micro SD 16GB costs ~$12-$15 at Walmart. $50-$60 is robbery, no way around it.

$179.99 entry price for the WiFi model would be much more enticing with others costs reduced as well.

I got mine as a gift. If it weren't for that I still wouldn't have one because of the pricing structure.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

built in memory would be perfect.
