Built in memory and a 100 dollar price cut would do the trick for me. If they dont do built in then it will have to be a 150 dollar price cut before i jump on board...

So it has to cost $99.99?

More like 150.  If it didnt have memory built in i would still spend 50 bucks on a memory card.  Either way, 150 is the price of my business...

Not anytime soon, they will lose lots of money if they do so.

No. Built-in memory adds to the cost. That's a terrible idea.

A memory card price cut wouldn't help Vita sales either.

How about instead of a price cut, Just add a memory card of 16 or 32gig?

agreed. its pretty much a next gen handheld. it has graphics close to the ps3's and xbox360's graphics with most of the features combined. and if they drop the price, at least drop it to 250.

Well I always thought it should have at LEAST come pre loaded with 4gb, then buying another 4gb card wouldn't seem pointless.

Uncharted GA is over 3gb If I remember correctly.

This is one of the Vita's biggest design flaws. They can't emphasize the digital distribution, and "Instant Game Collection", if there isn't any memory to download to. This also makes the bundles that come with game vouchers poinntless. They should at least bundle the system with a memory card.

It’s not though it’s there for convenience, convenience isn’t meant to be the cheapest option nor be a replacement option, assuming each download game takes up 3-4 gb on 32 gb card it only adds an extra $10 of cost to each game, which for convenience value isn’t too bad imo, nevertheless it’s how much you value that service option myself I’d rather a physical format.

I personally feel if any price cut is to be made it has to firstly come from the system it self, Sony need to get the vita into consumers hands and a memory price cut isn't going to do that. People get the system enjoy it, will be more willing to buy a memory card when needed, not everyone will need/want lots of memory either so taking a loss straight up with it is a bad idea.

Will a price cut be enough??? Holiday it was $199.99 with a game and i think a free 4gig memory! That didn't help (it did but not massively)

I would buy a vita with built in storage wwith 32 gigs for 250 dollra

VITA 32 GIG CARD.250 GIG SLIM & 160 GIG PHAT PS3

It should've had some sort of built in memory from the beginning.
