Forums - Nintendo - Free game when you register a 3DS XL, So why cant i get my game??.

you know the banner on their website? that actually has a little arrow part on the right side of it to scroll off to 2 other portions, the 3rd of which has where to get your download code for your free game, some of the times you load the nintendo page it's not actually loading up the banner right tho so try reloading then mouse around the right side of the banner area.

Now im wondering if i should get Mario 3D Land and trade in my original so i can get Kingdom Hearts 3D or if i should go for Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask xD

3D Land is fun but overrated.  It's very, very similar to the Mario Galaxy games.  For me it's sort of *yawn* and not so much wild excitement.  I'd recommend Kingdom Hearts DDD, or possibly Paper Mario.

Yeah.... between myself and my wife we kinda had all the games they were offering here with the exception of style bootique so she got that and sunk a fair bit of time in it. Professor Layton is an amazing series btw if you've not played them yet, I still actually have a DS game I want to finish before moving onto the 3ds game so I can't say how good it is, just that my better half said it was really good layton action.

Well I see you're 4 posts in here but going to go down well with everyone, He already has 3d land and would only be getting the digital download version so he can trade in his phsical copy of the game towards buying Kingdom Hearts....

I never played any of the Layton games so would the 3DS one be a good start for a begainer? Like i wouldnt of needed to play the older ones first??.

See that is the thing, you can happily play any of the games on their own, the only issue is some of the characters who are in the later games will take away or spoil some parts of the earlier games in the series if you ever planned to go back and play them from the start. I can't say exactly which bits the mark of miracles would spoil tho, since I've not played that one yet but I can imagine a few bits it would be hard to not spoil from the games I have played when you see who is in the 3ds game.

oh it actually took a few hours between us registering it and actually getting the download code emailed out, wasn't just a standard wait 5 mins thing, for us anyways. Could be faster for you of course just don't stay up mashing f5 for it :D
