I'm talking a LOT of money. If you were suddenly given $250 million (that's the amount for the purposes of this thread) would it change you as a person? I don't mean lifestyle changes - I mean the things that fundamentally make you yourself.

I wonder this as you often hear of people who win or come into a lot of money become selfish, self-centred and arrogant, whilst others become philanthropic and sentimental. Perhaps they were always this way; perhaps money doesn't change a person, but allows the deepest most hidden aspects of personality to shine through.

Anyway, do you think money would change you, and how? Also, here you go, here's $250 million dollars from me. How will you spend it?

I would instantly become a Republican, take my family and move to the Cayman Islands, living the rest of my life in comfort. After I die, all leftover $$ goes towards Space programs in colleges.

Money would just amplify who I am. I prefer the chill life, nothing too exciting, but I wouldn't want to work either.

That's a nice way to think about it. I wish I was a chill person. I'd become ridiculously extravagant and high maintenance aka a right bloody pain in the arse!
