Technically this HD remaster shouldn't be taking so long anyway.  They announced it quite a long time ago and we haven't seen any screenshots or anything yet.

I really want versus too but I think a HD remake isnt gonna affect the development that much. Lightning returns on the other hand...

this is ridiculous. an upscale only takes about 4 months. hell the kindgom hearts remake is only being done by 2 people and it only took them a year. their taking the piss with their priorities.

XII is my preference too. Let's hope FFX HD is successful enough to warrant it's HD rerelease.

With any luck, the reason why it's taking them so long is because they'll release FF X HD as part of a "PS2 Collection" of sort that will include XII as well.

I was only thinking about this last night, it's way overdue and it's one of my most anticipated titles on Vita.

Not with Square Enix... I occasionally have dreams about KH 3, but then realise the sheer absurdity of releasing a sequel on a home console to a really succesful franchise. I guess a better strategy would be to release vary spin offs all on different platforms.

lol why must versus and lightning returns always come up. the only game to have slowed down versus development was 14. the resources and manpower in that game is insane and rightfully so. 11 has made them more money than any other game they made, so it makes sence they want 14 to be able to do the same.
