By August 2013 it should have done it if the sales for both consoles don't drop even further

I didn't say it would happen in 2 months. But who knows, if Pikmin 3 manages to be a system seller against all odds WiiU might manage it in June^^

2. No it's not.  Xbox is now synonyous with family/casual gaming because of Kinect and Nintendo is now even trying(but failing) to win some core gamers back.

The Wii U is in the 8th generation, just like the Nextbox and PS4 will be. Graphics aren't everything. If a console was released that was 100 times as powerful as the PS3, would it be in the 12th generation? No, it would still be in the 8th.

2. Who called Wii U a failure?  Sales are disappointing so it is heading in that direction but to call it a failure this early is just trolling. So feel free to send me the link to this comment too.

Hehe, I was kidding :) It's an old joke. When Sony announced that they purchased Gaikai he and I were confused that they bought him.
