The Wii U is in the 8th generation, just like the Nextbox and PS4 will be. Graphics aren't everything. If a console was released that was 100 times as powerful as the PS3, would it be in the 12th generation? No, it would still be in the 8th.

I think what I'm looking forward to the most is in 5 years from now when we are once again hearing excuses about how the Wii U was a gimmick, lower priced, casual friendly etc and that is the only reason it sold 20-30 million more consoles than the PS4 and 720!

The fact that Sony & MS are so arrogant in giving Nintendo this much time without even announcing their next consoles should tell you something. A years headstart is what put the 360 on the map and brought the amazing third party support for that system.

If Nextbox & PS4 give Nintendo any more than a year - this gen is over before it even starts.
