Does VGC even know what they are doing or even think about somethings??

360 sales are at 73.7m, back in September we had it at 70m SHIPPED.

Now do they really think MS only shipped 4.5m Consoles for the whole Quarter ? At Least they will ship 6m wich will put it 2.3m behind VGC numbers...

Not sure if this is a joke but this is horrible tracking, im sorry VGC im a big fan but you guys need to get better sources, this is beyond ridiculous.

just because the 360 isn't performing well, it doesn't mean you should rant off.

Talk to me wehn financials hit, they had a big quarter in the U.S, 3rd biggest actually... They allways shipped >6m for this quarter, it wont change now.

The MS quarterly results in a few weeks will clear this all up.

So request this thread be locked, and just wait for the official MS numbers. Vgchartz will make the appropriate changes.

First, you don't know how many units Microsoft has on the shelf so I don't how you can claim X number is what VGC "thinks". They don't track shipped.

Second, stocked units fluctuate and during the holidays can be stocked in much larger quantities than normal. Sales could also have been underwhelming and they could have over shipped.

Third, this doesn't make any sense.

time comes companies start to ship less. you don't ship the same with 25% or something less sales in the first 9 quartes or the year compared to the same timeframe the year before. if i remember correct, microsoft shipped already too much last year which meant they had to ship less the first months of this year because of enough stock.

so, shipping less because it was already too much last year and shipping even more less because the whole year was much smaller results in? probably less as 6m shipped?

or maybe they even shipped too much, what does this change for vgc tracking of sold to customers consoles? vgc even overtracked the 360 in usa, do you expect to see 1.5 too less tracked consoles for rest of world? seriously?

i mean, it's not as amazon or anyone else will say to microsoft "hey we can never sell what you ship us but we build a whole new depot just for xbox 360s to let you ship as much as you want"

maybe i understood your post wrong, no clue.

Can you provide us with official numbers, to go against the numbers supplied by VGChartz?
