Yeah that's not good at all considering US is the Wii U's strongest region right now.

This was an incredibly horrible year for US Video Game Hardware:
Consoles 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012
Nintendo (All) 1.8m 6.5m 10.2m 9.6m 7.1m 4.5m 2.9m
Sony (All) 5.4m 6.5m 6.0m 6.1m 5.1m 4.8m 3.3m
Microsoft (All) 4.3m 4.6m 4.7m 4.8m 6.8m 7.2m 5.3m
Looks to me like the totals for 2012 were:
X360 - 5.3m
3DS - 3.7m (based on NIntendo's press release)
PS3 - 3.3m (assuming 700k in Dec)
Wii - 2.1m (based on Nintendo's press release)
DS - 1.8m (based on Nintendo's press release)
Vita + PSP - 1.5m ?

The things became even worst because I made a mistake with the Wii U price.
It's $350.

Ah, right. But Halo 4 mostly had launch bundles though, while AC3 was hard-bundled with the 250GB PS3 (or was it 500GB?) |
Halo 4 had a $400->$350 320gig bundle
Assassin's Creed III has a $300 500gig bundle.
The halo 4 bundle does appear to be sold out at all major retailers, online at least, but idk if was during december.

Of course you do
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
Now I have 1 hour to get home and wait the sugar leaks.

Everything looks to be in terminal decline now. X360 may also join Wii and PS3 in falling below the PS2 pace again aligned from launch.
