hey all, i  was bored today so i downloaded the resident evil 6 demo from PSN to day and i though it was good.
why all the hate on this game i though  the demo was cool how is the final verison driffrent from the demo.
and do they have patchs or updates for the game. i might pick it up when it hits 30 dollars

Horrible design, half assed wannabe 3rd person shooter gameplay, convoluted story, QTS around every corner, forced co-op with incredibly shallow and generic partners...

Its a poor effort of a gears clone. Its ok I guess but nowhere near the standards that the franchise used to be.

Mostly because is so different from the standard Resident Evil games, too much action. It's not a survival horror game anymore... 

thought it was ok better atmosphere than re5 imo id give it 7-8 was easy platinum aswell

i believe the newest patch adjusted the camera further away from character and adds co-op for the 4th hidden campaign

the hate is b/c its not horror, no good puzzles, and just doesnt have the feel of RE 1 or 2

People refuse to move on and let the game evolve however Capcom wants it to, even if it means trying to cash in CoD or Gears fanbase, for better or for worse. They're still stuck on resident evil 3 and have been bitching since then.

I, for one, am looking forward to playing the game which I will get it as soon as I can. I postponed it for PSABR.

Pretty decent game i'd give it a 8/10. Character iteration was good, story was not that great. I wouldn't call it convoluted as you need to beat a ll 4 story modes to get everything then it mostly makes sense. Gameplay is so/so i feel like they give you survival horror ammo in an action game which is terrible. i felt like i wouldn't have enough bullets to ill the amount of enemies they would send at me sometimes. If you liked the demo I say get it its not a broken game or anything it just doesn't live up to its full potential is all.

The intro alone is like the game saying "don´t play me!"
