Well is looks like people are already making posts that claim Nintendo and its newly released console, the Wii U, is not selling well. Eventually, maybe by April 2013, people will actually come out and say the Wii U is doomed. Well, maybe not doomed, because after the whole 3DS v Vita fiasco, I believe naysayers are a bit more cautious about how early they cry doom at a Nintendo console.

I personally think that Wii U is selling well, as the 3DS did, at launch considering the circumstances that exited for both consoles. But for the Wii U specifically, I think it’s selling well in a market that heavily favours the already established PS3 and 360. Eventually PS4 and Nextbox will also have to square off against PS360, and I doubt those new consoles, if they manage to make 2013, will sell more than PS3, 360, and even the Wii U during Christmas 2013.

So what are your thoughts – is Wii U doomed? Will PS4 and Nextbox fair any better during launch? Do you believe in the Nintendo magic?

Ow please.. Here on vgchartz we doomed the WiiU even before we knew it would come out.. We doom every device from time to time.. No device was not doomed.. Thats how we roll here on vgchartz..

Yup. PS4 and 720 are doomed as we speak. It's the circle of life.

Even my grandmother knows Nintendo will show off some big gun this 2013 Holiday and will take over.

Is Sony and MS make it impossible to play used games, I'll be joining the Wii U crowd in around 1-2 years away from now when the PS3 will die off and games on it become inferior to Wii U titles. If they aren't that stupid, I'll just wait till Wii U drops in price to 199. The console is not doomed. People will always want to play Mario, Zelda, Metroid or Pokemon. It will be a Gamecube 2. Profitable for Nintendo, but doesn't stand a chance at winning the next gen.

You are wrong, Nintendo is going to announced at E3 that they will become a software company, that's going to be surprise no one expected.
