12.235 Million for GTA4 in 2008 and was famously outsold by Mario Kart Wii by 1 million units the same year.  It was a crowning achievement nintendo fans talked about for months...but its not 2008 no mo.

Well, yeah, it's pretty much a no-brainer:

First, Nintendo won't have any of its heavy-hitters until the holiday; GTAV comes out during second quarter.

Second, GTAV is on two consoles (plus PC soon after), whereas Nintendo's games are only on one.

Mario Kart Wii came out two years after launch, so the Wii had a much larger install base than WiiU will have this year. Meanwhile, PS3 and 360 install bases have grown even more since then.

Depends, Are you counting it for all systems? Then yes, This also includes all Xbox and PS3 games as well!

↑↑↑Agreed wit this↑↑↑.... There is no nintendo game so its not a fair comparison, Any Games that can surpass GTA5 Will most likely come out holiday (Mario kart wii u) .

Unless a pokemon game comes out on the wiiu :P

Also if pokemon was released at the same time even if NoA and Europe delayed for 2or3 months it would win!!! (gen 6)

Not unless there is a sudden drop in interest for the GTA series, a huge franchise releases on the Wii U, Pokemon releases on the 3DS (which might happen), or GTA suddenly gets switched to a Wii U exclusive...
Other than that, yeah.

Can't think of any. Wii U won't have a userbase big enough to support 10m+ titles and I can't think of any 3DS titles that could make it.

Edit: If Pokémon gen 6 gets released worldwide for the 3DS in the first half of the year then it might have a chance.

Pokemon games don't sell on  home consoles.
