THIS!!
I ignored this thread because I thought it wouldn't last long enough.
Americans are like the least traveled people in the developed world (so I read) so I am surprise so many have an opinion .. unless it is based on tourists which I don't think is a good measuring stick.
Anyway, I don't think the French are arrogant, they are just rude.
Arrogant countries equates to an arrogant population. Arrogant countries are the ones, you know...the countries that like to push others around.
From my personal experience and from what others have told me are Americans, French and wealthy Gulf Arabs. Tbh it's quite unfair to label entire countries population like that as different regions of a country produce different levels of arrogance lol. Taking France for example- Parisians are known to be more arrogant than say people from Bordeaux who are very welcoming. Some Americans think they are the best due to being the richest and most powerful and many believe in the concept of American exceptionalism. As for the wealthy Gulf Arabs and their spoilt offspring- check this out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHcPevHHupE

Please just stop this. Carl got moderated, you got moderated, we all move on.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
Hard to say. But if I was to judge it I would probably do so for a country overall and not from personal experience as that is too small a sample size.
That being said considering their reduced current economic and military power compared to decades past I would have to say it is a toss up between England and France. They appear to consider themselves much more important than their weight would actually imply.
