cleaning can be harmful.  It's possible to dedicate too much time to nitpicking the cleanliness of your house, and if an obsession with cleanliness arises, you can become judgemental of other people's houses, and become mentally unstable.  It's called OCD and can be a real issue to people who are obsessively neat.  Germaphobes are also mentally overwrought.  

I don't know about the Bible, but in the Qur'an it says it is. Here's a qoute from the Qur'an:

(Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc) that is purer for them. Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what they do. And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things) and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts).[24:30-31

There are many more quotes saying similar things. 

You have heard that it was said, 'YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY'; but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. Something I have never understood and never needed. If your partner alone can't turn you on then there's something wrong with your relationship. The vast majority of girls I know would be seriously offended (by rights) if their boyfriends/husbands wound themselves up on porn and then came around to making advances for having watched someone else having sex.
If they watch it together, then its something else entirely, its something mutual and agreed upon.

Mind you, I'm not demonizing porn here but the above statement just always puzzled me.

that's a mighty fine interpretation!  to imagine something is the same as adultery?  Fine, so depending on the religion and interpretation, it's a sin.  cool. Good for me I believe all religion to be silly superstitious nonsense and prefer good old science to fairy tales any day.  

Seeing something better and therefore becoming critical of your reality is not exactly the same as being OCD. You honestly don't see a valid point in what I said? If you lived in poverty, but didn't realize it, you would be somewhat okay. If you started watching videos of people who live much more lavishly and have way better things than you, you would instantly become more critical of your reality and be more upset with where you were, causing you mental distress. The exact reaction depends greatly on the person themselves, but the medium supplies fuel to it.

I really do agree, granted I don't understand people who watch it when they are in a relationship. Is your woman really that unable to satisfy your sexual desires?
