Seeing something better and therefore becoming critical of your reality is not exactly the same as being OCD. You honestly don't see a valid point in what I said? If you lived in poverty, but didn't realize it, you would be somewhat okay. If you started watching videos of people who live much more lavishly and have way better things than you, you would instantly become more critical of your reality and be more upset with where you were, causing you mental distress. The exact reaction depends greatly on the person themselves, but the medium supplies fuel to it.
