Why admit you hate the developer but praise the game itself?

This is most unusual.

I am a fan of DMC 1-4. Yes I enjoyed a bit DMC2.   Having said so, I think the new reboot is horrible.

DMC was my favorite action/adventure franchise till GOW 2 came.

All those paid reviews...

Famitsu the magazine that gave 39/40 to RE6 and FF13 and 38/40 to ninja Gaiden 3.

I hate the devs on a personal level, has nothing to do with the work they do tho. They are ungrateful, narcisistic A-holes that still won't admit that Heavenly Sword, something they frequently put down cuz they are mad with Sony, is the BEST title they ever made commercially. The fanbase they established with that game are also inherent PS fans and they all but gave them the middle finger upon departure to Multiplatform land. Then they wonder why their "masterpiece" like Enslaved did so poorly.

I don't think any of their games are bad, they are good developers. Yet I totally condone boycotting their games as long as we admit to ourselves why we really are doing it. Right now I see a lot of self convincing by ppl who WANT to actively hate the game and say its bad......its not in any way. The only realistic arguments one can have against it is that Dante doesn't "look" like the previous dante.

I'm a PS fan and I liked NT more after Enslaved Could care less about it sales or "exclusivety".

And FYI (and you may need to set down first coze this maybe a bit of a shock) Heavenly Sword was originally intended to a Xbox360 exclusive!!

Yep you just played (and enjoyed) a game that was made on a xbox360 prototype. Might as well kill yourself now

It is not about how Dante looks. It is about how the game seems to play and as far as I am concerned the game looks to be playing terrible. Looks like Ninja Gaiden III on HD twins of this generation.

Love the art style, actually. Shame that hack-and-slash is not exactly my genre, unless the game is predominately an RPG.
