The thing is can Nintendo even create a character that would be as popular? The clock is ticking on both the 3DS and Wii U now.
GoldenEye helped other IP on the N64 too, I think it helped Perfect Dark a lot and certainly boosted Turok 2 as well.
In most cases I would agree, but truth be told, I just don't have a lot of faith in Nintendo being able to create a character as cool and wide appealling as James Bond.
Not to mention I don't think they would be willing to spend huge dollars on a completely unproven IP. Nintendo loves what they already know.
