I think PSV will end up around 5 to 6 million and Wii U in the 8 to 9 million range, so WiiU will outsell PSV by about 50%.

I think the Wii U will outsell the Vita 2:1 if the Vita gets a price cut, but 3:1 if it does not.

I'd like to hear more from these guys who reckon the Vita will outsell the WiiU over 3:1. If we assume an absolute minimum of 8mil for WiiU, then you're saying the Vita will sell over 24mil, or like 600% up YoY? Honesty?

Wii U isn't outselling it massivelly. The first weeks sales are higher than normal ones, Vita's first weeks outsell the PS3X360 first ones easily and it's tanking now (a price cut could help a lot, but it needs the big games too). Now, about front page tools, when VGChartz will include Wii U in the front page graph? I know it's next gen, but 3DS and Vita are too and they simply are there. 

3:1 in Vita's favor would happen only if Wii U tanked massivelly (and that isn't going to happen) and Vita got a ultra killer game (that isn't much likely).

The thread is flamebait. And yes, a sub-4 million year or vita is possible (an extension of it's current pace would give that) and a 12 million+ year for WiiU is likely. So 3X more.

I don't think the Vita is going to do 4 million though. I think it's going to go up or down. It could go up with a price cut and appealing software, or it could go down if the system outright dies. I'm not sure what will happen.

basically my opinion as well.  but i'm slightly less optomistic on vita.
