What about Wonderbook? XD
I see it on the picture you posted.
I went to Best Buy yesterday and one kid had one in his hands. I was surprised.
I have a pretty good idea what sales for December will look like.
And theres a couple BIG winners. Neither of which is the Vita or PSABR.
Though the Creed bundle for Vita has done pretty well.

Using Best Buy's Store Pickup availability check online, it seemed like big markets on the coasts were out of Wii U Deluxes. But many markets whether it was Chicago, Atlanta, Kansas, etc....did have them available every time I checked (and I checked very frequently). In fact even just now, many markets in the coastal city zip codes still show Unavailable. So depending on where he is, he might be telling the truth. Wii U is not soldout throughout. Ad bestbuy has less supply of Wii U it seems, if you check Gamestop, Walmart, Target, Gamestop, even in markets where Best Buy says sold out, they would have them available. The white ones are so lackluster, Best Buy offered free Nintendoland to try to move them.
Pachter had an interesting take on Nintendo withholding marketing blitz to manage supply and demand and I think he's got a point. I'm a huge fan of Nintendo, and hold a decent chunk of their much depreciated stock. But I do think Wii U is very lukewarm so For once I hope Pachter's right.
