naimisharanya should be banned. He's been here for over a year. He knows the rules.

No, he should get a warning just like every other member. And if he behaves for a long period of time another warning like everyone else

So saying other guy is an asshole is less an offense than SDF?

I really have to hold myself back here and say it mildly...

Can you read my good sir?

Of course I can. You have insulted other user several times, I can't see how that is less an ofense that saying SDF.

Indeed I am aware of VGChartz progressive system. It's flawed and should be amended. If someone is obviously not a new member decides to personally insult a person multiple times, then he should be banned, regardless of moderation history. The current system is flawed and I think you know it. naimisharanya has clearly shown that he has no intentions of peaceful or intelligent discussions.

I beg to differ!

I suggest that you simply have a poor grasp of my true intentions.

Firstly, I contest your statement "several times". PROVE IT.

Secondly, if you could read, you would find a perfectly good explanation above, i.e. the progressive-moderations standard. This - in effect - makes your statement "I can't see how that is less an ofense that saying SDF" NULL in this context - without any meaning.

How is Jay saying I'm not willing to have an intelligent conversation? Am I not peaceful. With the little bit of ill-weather I've had to put up with you two I find it no surprise that mods are being criticized so much for heaven knows what.

Where have all the flowers gone.

So if a new user says to you that he hopes someone provides you a horrible death, it only deserves a warning due to the progressive-moderations standard. It's reasonable.

Your "true" intentions are of little relevance. What matters is what you explicit type and how it effects the community. It doesn't matter if you inner intentions are pure (Moderators can't read minds anyway). The moderators are supposed to prohibit actions that are harmful to discussion. As such, you should have been banned a long time ago.

Interesting that selnor's departure has brought some people out (people who don't claim to be a fan of the PlayStation) saying that they will either leave or want to leave. Either Sony fans really DO dominate here or people need thicker skin.

@ the bolded. Where have you been? This is the case for the last 3 years on this site. I recommended to change the site name to PSChartz so new Nintendo and Xbox fans know what they are getting into here.

The latter part of that is the bigger problem. Sony fans, just like any other, are very easy to ignore. If you're affected by something they've done (and it isn't a direct inslut towards you or someone else), you take it too seriously and need thicker skin.

You are evidently much too mature for this place. I suggest you move along swiftly to pastures anew.

Your whole statement is irrelevant.

Do I really need to show you why? You do know internet IQ scores mean nothing right?

I agree with you. It's totally unreasonable.

I was just basing what I said on the stated rules. Nothing more, nothing less.

My thoughts on this issue are about having a good sentiment towards others. I think that if we treated people with respect more friendships can abound. Could we all just get along? Really I think this anger is frightening. Obviously we could not use profanities. So what is all this anger about. One could argue these people may work for the respective companies. For me I am just a feeble peasant from the lands afar. Tell me this though what do you want changed about peoples anger?

Fair practice would dictate that hate is evil. Another point is that good thoughs are rationalized. None of the assailants can really hold a tablet of this facade. Some of you might be crazy, but I don't know.

Some people can be arrogant and that is not attractive. Understand though that anger is taught from within. Can you tell me what you're beliefs on this feud are?  Kangaroos don't behave like this so why should we.

Decicive actions should be brought about by the powers that hold true. In case this doesn't work, we will have to resort to anarchy. Class acts are what we really need though and some of you do behave that way.  Keywords are what really brings this post together though.

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

So this only gets a warning, but saying SDF is an auto ban? I can't understand the forum rules anymore. My advice is that, taking into consideration all the shit that is happening this last weeks, moderation team should enforce stricter and less interpretable rules. I think the problem with moderation lies in the inconsistency, something banworthy for some mods is acceptable for others, or it seems.

Saying SDF is not an auto-ban, but in any case a lot of it is based on moderation history and Selnor's moderation history is enormous, and naimisharanya's considerably less so.
