I find it odd that they say you need 2gb of ram and it supports 6600 cards, i don't think anyone has 2gb ram running on a 6600.

Ubisoft is asking for 512 Mo of VRAM recommended whereas the X360 and PS3 have 256 Mo. Go figure.
Ubisoft is by far the less efficient publisher at consoles>PC ports. They just don't want to spend money on that.
Jesus, that is far beyond my expectations, good luck playing it on a laptop!
I'm fine though, as are my nerdy friends, but that is hardly a game for the masses, yet...
The 2 GB of RAM thing was what really surprised me.
They probably did a terrible job of optimization and theres probably 10 times as much code and other stuff going on than there needs to be.
Creed's minimum requirements are even WORSE than Crysis'. What a terrible port, atleast Crysis is optimized.
Given how it looks on PS3 and 360 those are in fact lousy specs, with little indication what extra you're getting. AC should look exactly the same on PC with far less specs than those and should look much better if you did have those specs.
The RAM is the worst - how badly optimised can this port be to need that much extra?
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
Very high system requirements needed for AC. I will stick with console version of AC and wait for it to drop in value.
Is it me or are these developers being really tough on PC requirements (cept for Blizzad IMO) they tell you you need an intel core 2 duo, or the latest AMD CPU to meet the minimum specs specificly.
