I don't know mate, PSP looks far healthier than PSV. I don't want to be mean so I won't rub you this year's numbers, but go ahead and look at them.
I'm starting to believe that MH4P will be a PSP/PSV game.
I know this is getting old... But it seems likely with those numbers...

Common sense says there's no need to port a game to a platform that holds what? 10% of the japanese market? Less than that, perhaps? Common sense? It sounds more like Sony fans crying foul for MH saying byebye. And that's a very sour byebye.

The mainline numbered Monster Hunter games are usually console-only. This changed recently as the Wii version of Tri got ported to 3DS, and the portable version of Portable 3rd got ported to PS3.....3DS is getting MH4 which was supposed to come to consoles.(maybe a Wii U version in the words?) There is no evidence of Monster Hunter being exclusive to Nintendo consoles as we have yet to see a Monter Hunter Portable to show up on one. i think he means it'll help vita, but this is sony we're talking about so psp wont die anytime soon. MH should just continue on 3DS and PSP, Because if on vita and its the same version on 3DS no one is gonna buy it IMO!

It's a suggestion because frankly if there were going to release a MH on a PlayStation device PSP is a better choice than PSV.

Maybe right now when there is such a large gap between install bases, but as Vita sales increase it becomes a better place for 3rd party games to sell. If you don't believe me then look at PS3 software sales ompared to Wii in Japan.
