Forums - Nintendo - I killed SuperChunk! - But he attacked me first.

Sounds fun :p

More games should have something like this.

Honestly, when I first saw the Wii U lineup I had a bit of a mixed reaction towards it. Some pretty solid ports of Darksiders 2 and Mass Effect 3 would have me interested, but the lack of that system seller 1st party title was just not there. I understand there was a 2D mario game but I believe 2D mario is a bit behind the curve for a now HD next gen console such as the Wii U. I'm still waiting for Super Mario Universe or whatever Nintendo decides to call it.

With that said, Zombie U looks awesome. Yeah it sounds it's not perfect, but for a launch title? Takes advantage of the systems new features perfectly and just looks like a new, fun experience.

The game is awsome. While I don't think Zombie U over achieves in any particular department (maybe except horror) it does many things well for a new franchise on a new console - an that is saying a lot. I can't wait to see what they do with ZU2!

I'd say the lighting and shadows deserve some credit. The best I've seen in a video game so far.

I want the sequel set in Paris so we can get a bit of revenge killing the French. Ubisoft seem to be out to have us kill Brits going by ZombiU and Assassin's Creed III lol.

My personal game of the year, and any game that lets you kill Superchunk with a cricket bat gets my vote..( only joking Superchunk) lol

I'm not sure how it works but I know that if you fail to kill your old survivor they disappear with everything they have on them, it's possible those previous survivors that aren't dispatched are randomly sent to someone on your friends list.

Wow, im jealous I don't get to play ZombiU

Yay!!!

hmm that's possible. i left one of my infected survivors out side of Buckingham Palace and i'm not sure what happened to him. I couldn't go back for him, ...to many infected,...so i ran
I hope someone took him out of his misery.

No he probally is delitfully munching down on survivors and washing them down with some Earl Gray, you know even if they are zombies they still need to be proper. ;p

Wait, is this game online? If so i really hope it's under the tree for me. I asked for it for Christmas cause I couldn't bear the thought of paying 60 dollars for it. But if it has online co op I might take that statement back. So is it true? Online co op?

nope. No Online co op. Sometimes you can see other peoples infected survivors lurking around, if u manage to kill them u can loot their stuff. People can leave messages via spray painting (similar to darksouls), unfortunately in my playthroughs i did not see many messages left behind. There are online leaderbards, but i can't think of anything else that was online. Have not checked out multiplayer, but i do believe it is just local only.

Bet with ninjablade:

Ninjablade wins if the next 5 multiplat on the wii u are inferior to the 360 version.

I win if one of the 5 mulitplats are on par or superior on the Wii U.

It a single player game right down to its core. But they added network enhancements where they could. Coop would of lessened the suspense of some sequences, and suspense is at the very core of this title. I haven't tried the multiplayer either, so I don't know if its online.
