na this is just common sense. Gabe is becoming less and less of a dick towards consoles.

 I am pretty sure he is referring to libellule's comment about it not being a good game.

L4D is a huge title for the PS3, if it is developed by valve and not EA again you can easily expect it to be one of the top 10 titles for the year for the PS3.

He's never been a dick toward consoles, just the PS3 for some reason.

This doesn't affect me, since I'm getting the PC version, but I really didn't see this coming.  Then again, it had to happen sometime--that PS3 would be getting ports of previous 360-exclusives, since it's been the other way around left and right.

EDIT: I do call BS on this until it's substantiated by Valve/Turtle Rock instead of a forum (even though it's one of EGM's editors).  Turtle Rock has said from day one that it's for 360 and PC.

Not really.  Gabe still hates the PS3 and 360.  He doesn't give a crap about developing for them.  It's EA who's trying to push his games on the consoles.  They came to him, and offered him royalties for them doing all the work.  Not that it really matters, when they aren't designed for the consoles and play stiffly at best on the consoles.

I couldn't care less. It'll probably turn out crappy. You really should play this game on PC. If you think, "meh, this is alright," it's because you're playing a crappy port of an awesome PC game. Just like Orange Box.

I m surprise that people are not MORE happy because I thought that LEft4Dead was a good game (at least anticipated) and so I expected more :
