if i could break it down Mario Kart DD had the best mechanics, everyone with a partner with their own abilitys only shared with one other character, Great Tracks! It was just good but Mario Kart Wii was the best with Tracks IMO and bikes are great. MK DD had some great fun factor in it. hard too say what it was lol

I would say DD has the best controls while Wii is more arcade and crazy, i like both equal
my least favs are 64, SC and DS

I went for DD. First Mk I bought, for my first Nintendo console.

Great game, put many hours into that game. Was always Yoshi!

I had the most fun with DD. But out of all the mario karts I've played its the hardest for better or worse. All the other mario karts have very easy handling, but with DD, if I haven't played in a while, its actually pretty challanging staying on the track until I get used to the more slippery handling. 

Double Dash, followed by DS. I spent so many hours playing both of those games (Although after playing 7 for a while, I'm starting to like that one a lot too). The only game that I never really got into was the Wii version. 12 racers was a little bit too chaotic for me.

DD was the first Mario Kart I ever played and had such a blast with it! But I went with Wii; crazy fun game!!

Mario Kart Wii is probably the most fun game I've ever owned. Multiplayer is awesome fun, my friends + siblings get really competitive, everyone who comes over loves to play it, single player is awesome and challenging, online is a TON of fun. I couldn't ask for more.

the only reason why mk wii is my favourite and not DD is because of the online mode but DD was awesome too, I played the hell out of it with a friend back then.

I was very dissapointed with 7, it doesn't have those challenge modes like the ds version and the course design was just meh...

Mario Kart 64, it had the best tracks i think. Just thinking of Rainbow road brings back some happy memories

Very close but MK64 for me. It's the one that gives me the happier memories plus i think it had the best tracks. Ones like banshee boardwalk or yoshis mountain. If MKWii had just 1 of these i think it would just about surpass MK64 though.
