PS3 (Backwards compatible), it's a PS2 and PS1 right off the bat. VIta, it's a PSP right off the bat.

There was just NO console that ever matched the output of the PSX. It represented the zennith of traditional console gaming.

Vita first.

All of them were great for their own time. You really can't choose one, when they are all from different times. While the release of one console may have overlapped another, that doesn't mean it didn't/doesn't have it's one time to shine.

If I had to choose an overall all best console, I would choose the PlayStation One. Spyro, Crash and Legend of Dragoon.

My fondest memories of gaming have always been when I first got my ps1.

It's a very difficult choice. Not a single PlayStation system was bad.

All of them including the Vita did something remarkable already.

I agree with this, though. PS One had the most games from genres I enjoy. Good old times when JRPGs and fighting were kings. Tekken 3, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Dead or Alive, Final Fantasy VII, oh god I played those so much.

PS3 is one of my most beloved consoles ever but this shooter-craze is really bothering me.
