It's about 6x less poweful than top end single GPU, not only 3x, it's pretty weak.

Not really, actually (Voodoo ratings):

7970GHz edition - 251

7870m - 79

did i read this right? 1.125 gHz and about 600 GFLOPs?

how does that compare to 360, ps3, and wiiU?

hmmmmm, don't believe it. the NeXbox will not use a GPU that is being made for multiple devices. It will be getting it's own GPU customized and this has been hinted at for a while now.

BTW that picture does not say anything about the 8000 being in consoles. It says AMD GPU's are in consoles, that does not mean the 8000. It is simple advertisement guys. You show what your company does so people take your product more serious.

Doesn't matter,Durango won't use this,and i doubt PS4 will use it,unless it's 7970m/89xxm

PS4 not sure, but seems some people forget about 7970m and future 89xxm

There is that possibility yes, it'd cost a lot more though, but the power draw wouldn't be bad on those.

I highly doubt they will be using this GPU so don't even research it.  The picture doesn't say anything about the 8000 being used in consoles.  It says AMD GPU's are.

I think that many people in forums are hoping for something like 7970m - that seems like sweet spot between power/TDP/price.

yes you read that right but there is nowhere mentioned on the charts that the next gen consoles will use this, they mention that consoles will use amd gpu's, maybe they even mean the 8xxxm editions but it could be a 8870m or whatever else.

we don't know what "coming soon" will have as specs
