Sorry, but I'm not paying 20 dollars for an iPhone game.

But you'd pay $30 or $40 for the same thing on a 3DS simply because of the name, right?

Square has done a great job selling their titles at very high pricepoints. Good on them.

Can't wait for them to flop and SE to go bankrupt. You ruined Squaresoft.

We might even get to see Kingdom Hearts 3 if that happens -_-

square stop putting re-releasing games on the ios for over 20 dollars they won't sell if you do that

I say go ahead. As an industry we can't let the the App Store make $1 games the norm.
Final Fantasy is a premium IP that demands a premium price.

No it won't sell on the level of Angry Birds but at $20 it doesnt need to....

The great ones always fall ;(

First Capcom
Now Squareenix

Next will be Namco Bandai T.T

All mah favorite companies going down.

Although I doubt they'll lose much on the iOS....

Nope Bamco won't
Tales of was nearly destroyed cause they supported the wrong console but the PS3 is making them more money than they could have imagined.
Goes of course for every other Bamco Game right now - They are doing great cause their main Platform is the platform BAMCO Fans support.
SquareEnix is just supporting the wrong audience - This audience doesn't care for J-RPGs or anything like that.
SquareEnix and Capcom have one thing in common > WE WANT TO CONQUER THE WESTERN WORLD WITH THE HELP OF  MICROSOFT AND WE WANT TO GET THE CALL OF DUTY COMMUNITY INTERESTED IN OUR GAMES CAUSE THEY ARE BIGGER THAN THE WHOLE J-RPG/SURVIVAL HORROR COMMUNITY!
Capcom said this themself and SquareEnix is showing what they try to achieve the whole Gen.This is why Final Fantasy is doing pretty bad and RE6 flopped.
They are destroying well known franchises for a weird dream.
Tetsuya Nomura should get lead of SquareEnix and some other person should get the control of Capcom.

As long as this attidude won't change.Im not saying screw Microsoft and let them have fun with their yearly copy+paste shooters.
Im saying they should just focus their love back to the people, platform and community  who made them back.Cause the people over the world who love J-RPGs don't want a Final Fantasy that plays like AssaCreed,Call of Duty or is a crap movie like Twilight with playback singers like Leona Lewis.
J-RPG/Japanese Company fans over the world want the stuff they always made CAUSE they aren't the usual western war games.

Still playing 7 on my android devices, then 8, then 9 for free. You apparently can do this with apple emulators as well.

Yeah exactly
Would love to see a PS2 Emulator working - Would be nice to play FFX,KH or something like that on my Phone.

It may be Final fantasy, but they sure take the piss at £10.99 a game

Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch (+ Many Retro Consoles)

Prediction: Switch 2 will outsell the PS5 by 2030

Let's not forget that the game is 20 years old. I'm not a fan of paying current-gen prices for a fourth gen game.

That is the reason I did not buy Ocarina of Time 3D, because that game is over 10 years old, and I wouldn't pay 40 dollars for a game that old. Not when I can get a game I haven't played for the same price.

I did, however buy the Sly Cooper Collection. I have not played those games, and I don't have a PS2, so I couldn't buy them used.  My easiest option was buying from the PSN, so that's what I did. Even better, I bought the collection during a PSN sale, during which I was hoping the collection would go on sale.

After all, I am an American, and we look for the best deals.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

....Its the 3D remake that was released just a few years ago, not the ~20 year old 16-bit version.  Its the same way with FFIII and most other SE games - they're all recent remakes as opposed to the original versions.
