Just as a Sony Company (not vs 3DS) I say its doing fairly below average. Sony making a profit (even if small) on each but they really need the price drop on hardware and memory.
Japan is where is bleeding now (no MH anymore which was PSP mario). 3DS and the release of wii U will bring down sales of vita in japan more now. 3DS has MH4 and Dragon Quest first quarter so Sony needs to have great quality games after this as there isn't much a point selling best titles during quarter 1

Europe seems the best IMO as of now but both U.S and Europe can be helped with a little less beating in the wallet

Y'all got Phantasy Star Online 2, at least

/jealous

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I own one and I'm not particularly worried.
With LBP Vita and the PS+ games I already feel my purchase was a good decision and then there is Tearaway on the horizon and even if they were to stop vita game production after that I can still play the PS1 games I dled and may try several PSP games (didn't own one).

PSVita is a bizarre case. Its sales are at red alert levels in Japan but it still gets quite some major games there : One Piece Pirate Warriors 2, Legend of Heroes, God Eater 2, Senran Kagura, Jump VS, Tales of Hearts, etc. which makes my Vita schedule way busier than my 3DS schedule.

On the other hand, it has very few titles hitting the west next year despite the boost it is getting from the holidays.

Overall, I can't shake that feeling it IS in danger somehow even though imo it is set to have a far better library than 3DS.

I dont think there is even a comparison to be had. The 3DS library is far more enticing, i think theres no denieing that. I mean... RE revelations, KH3D, Tales of the abyss, Fire emblem, DQ7 remake, MH4, next zelda, next pokemon, Ace attourney 5, AAvsLayton... its not even comparable. Vita only has very alternative titles like gravity rush, Ragnarok odyssey and Persona 4.

But i guess it all goes to your personal taste. Hey at least theres PSO2 (though its a scaled down version of the PC game).

There is no more flesh on this horse. There is no more bone. There isn't even a fine, powdery, residue this topic has been beaten so badly to death.

Please, in the future, think of the children who shouldn't continually be exposed to the same thread, with a different title, ad nauseum.

Thank you.

No. Lets wait for the first price cut. The same goes for the the Wii U.

Soul Sacrifice and Gods Eater: 2 should help its sales to increase in Japan. Maybe a GTA, Elder Scrolls, God Of War and BioShock games should do the same in the West. Also, PRICE CUT!

"NO, - it's just a slow start"
