Could be.  I have no proof and I'm too lazy to check, but the rumblings on the forums was that Insomniac said that due to a study focus on what people want, they've changed the style of the game. 

Definitely, I think. Nothing about this game stands out. 

I can't tell if this game is as much generic as Gears of War, or even more generic....

It might actually be a lot of fun but damn if the visual style doesn't look awfully bland. I think a lot of people are going to ignore it because of that.

What has happen to insomniac there last two ratchet games and this aren't up to there old standard. Hopefully the game turns out good but so far it doesn't look at all interesting.

I love Insomniac but I'm gonna skip this one. So many good games next year...

yea i can see a focus group changing the focus of the game but not EA. well maybe EA given some advice, but not as a focus to get market attraction.

Insomniac hasn't found thier footing outside of R&C, and if everyone else sees like most posting in this thread, i can see Isomniac struggling for yr.'s to come on thier direction.

Gameplay wise it looks fun and those character specific weapons are petty unique. Also the story trailer I saw a few weeks ago was good to me. One of the characters did a really cool melee move where she wrapped her legs around the enemies head and then slung them around (hurricanrana) which makes me think there gonna have some cool melee moves.

Which of these games will be the biggest bomba ?
