Clearly it sounds like the series is being a bit dumbed down but that wasn't unexpected. I still have very high hopes.

Might not make it in 2013 ? Should be a PS4/720 game instead.

Sounds like the "other guy" is working on a new IP, so maybe that will be what the hardcore Souls fans want even if Dark Souls 2 is a dissapointment in their eyes.

-This the article source for the infamous “we want the skyrim audience” quote. To be perfectly clear, even though this was already known, this quote is from the writers of the article and not From Software.

I'm so worried after reading this.   I know many people loved Skyrim, but in my opinion going after skyrim audience means developers will dumb down the game.
