Do you really think every gamer has two or more consoles? In the last generation many gamers had two consoles, Wii + PS3 or Wii + XBox360, because the Wii was not capable of handle the multi-games. But in the new generation many gamers will only buy Wii U, because XBox3 and PS4 will not show significant better graphics than Wii U, it will be more like the last generation where PS2 got the gamers even Gamecube and XBox1 had better hardware, now the gamer will get a Wii U. Because they get the nintendo games and most third party games.

Now that we've established that 10 - 15 months is actually more like "in the next year" and nothing like "in the next few months" let's consider for a moment the definition of generation. A generation means people who are born or in this case technology which is produced within a date range. It's a bit nebulous but in people, those born within two are maybe 3 years of each other are considered members of the same generation. It doesn't matter whether they are tall, short, fat, thin or what colour their skin is, they are part of the same generation. Technology lives and dies at a much faster pace.

There hasn't been a new home console for 6 years so the Wii U is clearly the beginning of a new generation and will remain the only member of this new generation for about a year. You might not like it but there's not much you can do about it.

I don't think a lot of people have 2 consoles (I myself have 1) but every gamer who is into games like Dark Souls, GTA or whatever, do not have a Wii or WiiU only.  And that will not change with the WiiU.  As I already said, from a capitalist view, there is no money for core games in the WiiU.  A unit sold for Dark Souls WiiU is a unit less for Dark Souls PS3 or Xbox.  No gain there.

If you dislike the Wii U then that is your prerogative but claiming that core gamers will not purchase games like Dark Souls on the Wii U only personifies your ignorance towards Wii U owners and Nintendo gamers.

Furthermore, I got a PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U. I have Black Ops 2 on the Wii U. Hence, your argument of ''every gamer who is into games like Dark Souls, GTA or whatever, do not have a Wii or WiiU only'' is inconclusive and childish.

but just imagine how many wii u + xbox 360 or ps3 owners could sell their 360/ps3 now if they would get those games for the wii u. if someone doesn't have interest in the exclusive games of next year and no interest to play games like halo online it would be ideal to sell the consoles now and only play on wii u then to get money as long as you still get good money for those consoles and the older games.

so, i can understand that as example those people want the games on wii u (yes only a small part is in this category)

Reread what I wrote.  You're off! 

Since when are game releases "fair"?  I'm sure lots of people whined and bitched about RE4 when it was announced for gamecube, and there was probably a petition or two, but in the end if there's a game you really want on another consoles, the only way to be assured of playing it is to get that console.  That's all there is to it.  Just like if I want to play the next Dragon Quest I gotta buy Nintendo, if you want to play the next Dark Souls or GTA you're probably going to have to step outside Nintendo.  

I clicked the wrong one on the poll :/ I agree though stop the polls. All these petitions for games to make the wiiU is just plain pathetic If you want the games then buy the right console.

Thats the reason they want those games so badly, because if Nintendo fanatics can get all of the multiplatforms in most cases they dont have to buy the other consoles.
