So before you go running your mouth about how one system sucks, at least TRY to be a bit more openminded about what each system actually has to offer.  The two game lists are more even than you'd think, not to mention 3DS ports of games tend to be terrible but Vita ports of console games tend to be comparably good.  Need For Speed Most Wanted is virtually identical to its console counterpart, and that's a full game.  the only games on 3DS that are comparable or improved are from 15 years ago (Zelda and Star Fox.)  There's also a LOT of shovelware on that 3DS (not that there isn't shovelware on the Vita).  the point is that that it's people like you who are perpetuating the false claim that the Vita has no games.  It's only 10 months old, it has a damn good lbrary for a system in its first year.  if you recall, the 3DS had virtually NOTHING its first year.  Pilotwings, Zelda, Star Fox, Mariokart, and Mario 3D Land were IT.

Tell you what, if by the end of next year the Vita hasn't come to rival the 3DS in terms of games, then I'll humbly step down, but it's done in 10 months what it took the 3DS almost two years to accomplish in terms of exclusives and quantity.

Oh, and go through those lists.  Which system has original games more?  what has new IP's?  All of nintendo's stuff, save Pushmmo (which is damn good) is reliant on nintendo's franchises and established brands.  the 3DS has nothing like Gravity Rush or Unit 13 on it, unique, original, console quality gaming on the go.

I don't mind people trumpeting the 3DS, as I love my 3DS as much as the next girl but can you at least pretend to try to be smart and fair about it?

I prefer the PlayStation Vita simply because of the superior hardware and actual analogues that don't require an extra $20.

I guess you can take that $20 from the $150 extra your paying for the Vita in the first place. Plus, the extra money for the memory cards you have to buy lol.

Gotta give to nod to the Vita and here are my reasons.

Bigger and better screen.
Dual analog > Single analog (Circle Pad)
3DS games can also be found on iPhone, so just get an iPhone.

Ok, so just because two games are ported therefore you should buy a much more expensive piece of hardware???Are you honestly trying to make that argument lol? Also, you know the 3ds has two screens with a bigger total area than the Vita right?? About the second stick argument people like to get in bigger fight other over, most of the games on 3ds work fine without it and some of the games on Vita where you really need it like Cod and Resistance where the contorls are so broken, what good does it really do?

For the graphics argument, games like Resident Evil Revelation and Kid Icarus in 3D mode look significantly better than any game on Vita

Please, let's keep this thread seriously. These games look worse than Uncharted and bear in mind that Uncharted was a launch title, while these 2 titles were released a year after 3DS hit the market. So pretty much they should be compared to what Soul Sacrifise and Killzone show us. But still, Uncharted already is superior, search comparisons on youtube if you doubt it.

Then you have played neither Kid Icarus nor Resident Evil Revelation with 3D on, because they are very clearly better looking.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

First off, you must have missed the emoticon right after I mentioned how iPhone gets 3DS games? You should try to lighten up.

Second, 2 screens or not, neither are of any quality comparable to the one on the Vita. I enjoy the 5" OLED. Persona 4 Golden looks great on it and i'm having a blast.

Third, 1 analog doesn't compare to 2. Can it work? Yes, but remember, it was one of, if not THE biggest gripe about the PSP for years. Us old PSPers don't suddenly forgive that now because Nintendo has only 1 on the 3DS. Nintendo making the CPPro just shows they agree with me.

Fourth, one of Resistance and CoD's better areas were controls. Go back and check the reviews. There isn't anything wrong with the analogs.

Other than that, I apologize for not feeling like the 3DS is amazing, even though I am picking up one this week. Fiance wants the purple one, but I talked her into the red one because it comes with SM3DL. That plus I want to get Tales of the Abyss and Bravely Default.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

I bought both; pre-ordered.

Bought the analog stick add on for the 3DS (to use with RE: Revelations and MGS3D). Haven't turned on the 3DS in months since.

The PSV gets turned on every now and again, but it's been months since I've actually played any games on it after buying Gravity Rush on release day (less than 3 hours played). Even so, I still like the hardware and if it weren't for the fact that my smartphone handles all the extra tasks a PSV can be used for, it would probably see daily use.

However... since I have an iPhone and an iPad, neither the 3DS nor the PSV sees any sort of regular use. As much as I hate to out myself here, when I feel the need to play some games for a few minutes (5-15 minute sessions or less) here and there, it's always iOS games.

The problem with both the 3DS and the PSV is that the games that are actually worth buying the platforms for generally require 30-60 minutes worth of uninterrupted play time to get the most out of them. Many of the games I've bought for either are best played in sessions around or over an hour at a time.

The reality is, I just don't have the desire to spend that much time in a single session when it comes to handheld games anymore. Neither handheld goes anywhere with me. About the only time either would see extended use would be during a train ride or trip somewhere that didn't involve me driving.

The 3DS's price has halved? Where was I when this happened?
