I keep playing more PS3 because I have no interest in most Xbox exclusives, and end up buying more multiplatforms on PS3 because more friends own PS3 and I have more trophies than achievements. I don't like shooters (Halo, Gear of War), don't like Kinect, I don't use cross game chat (my english is not good enough to use voice chat), and although I paid 1 year for Xbox Live I felt it is was ripoff compared to PS Plus so I did not renew it.

With that in mind, should I keep my 360 or sell it? Maybe wait for some new title, is something interesting on the horizon?

Sell the 360 while the system is high, back in October there was a double $$ deal on systems traded in at GS, so I got rid of mine for $50 less than I had bought it for originally a couple years back (I have owned and sold 3-4 xbox 360's) I kept my PS3 for a few reasons, but one of them is it is already an exisitng Blu-Ray player that is 3D capable, and will have a few games (mainly on RPG side or MLB The Show) that I would want.

It really depends. if you like racers then you should try Forza, it is better than gran turismo in my honest opinion. It sounds like you like the online system for 360 more but you just dont have friends who play xbox am I correct? Well there is a ton of arcade games you can get for the 360 and Im sure you can make friends on XBL if you play online games but honestly MSFT will probably not support the 360 that much because the NeXbox so if you don't want to play arcade games or forza then yes just sell it for a downpayment on one of the new consoles.

No need on keeping something you will not play regardless if you like it.

If you're not an XBL Gold subscriber, then odds are the Xbox is not your primary console. It also means you can't and don't play online with it. So, the Xbox is good for single player mode and not much else.

If you need or can use the small amount of trade in value an Xbox is actually worth and you have no intention of playing any of your single player games again and/or you've already sold most or all of them, then the only reason for hanging onto an old console is if there's something in the next year you're planning on buying that hasn't been released yet.

Presumably, you have little or no money invested in any XBLA games or downloadable content either, which is really what links people to a hardware platform; the services and purchases made on said services.

Halo 4 is pretty much the swan song for the Xbox 360 as far as exclusives go. There's a prequel in Gears of War Judgement coming and another Forza title, but anyone who had even the remotest interest in MS Studio's major IPs would already know about those and would be hanging onto their Xbox, even if it wasn't their online/main console. So presumably, you're not planning on buying or playing any of those.

Personally, I don't know why any dedicated gamer would even bother to buy a new console this late into the development cycle knowing full well what it has in the back catalog, as well as what it will have until the next gen replacements arrive next year, but then I realize there are a lot of gamers on limited budgets who will actually waste more of their money buying a console to play a new release game and then sell it or trade it in for a lot less when they're done. Rinse, wash and repeat with each big exclusive title.

I have to agree with Adinnieken here. You never know if there might be a game you might be interested in announced. I'd say wait another 6 months to a year before deciding.

Thats what I do on my 360. A lot of rinse and repeat games. But my friends who love COD, Gears and Halo 4 are on it.

Just looking at it from his perspective is all.  Personally I never get rid of any of my consoles.  he sounds like he likes  it so I dont know.

I wouldnt sell it unless you need the money. I have both consoles and find plenty of games to enjoy on each that I can't get on the other.

Just keep it.

Some demo might not be available on PSN, or that older game you still wanted to play may be cheaper for 360. (Just got Castlevenia LOS for $12) 2 consoles = double the 2nd hand and bargain bins to look in.

Only sell it if you really need the money to buy a wiiU ;)
