Using amazon sales during cyber week is actually pretty dumb thing to do. People did the same thing to littleBIGplanet. Especially because its back above 50 dollars.

It doesn't matter if it was Cyber something or not, they wouldn't discount the game that hard when it actually sells at the MSRP price point, which it didn't.

You have no grasp of USA's black friday or the week after then. thousands of retailers drastically cut the price of millions of items (Including things that sell really well). Amazon being an online only store posts their sales the week following thanksgiving.
Items such as microwaves, blenders, toasters and vacuums get slashed by like 50 dollars and sell from 5-20 dollars. Two years ago I bought my mom a Dyson vacuum which was 200 dollars off the retail price which was 50%. TV's get hundreds of dollars slashed off the price tag. Target was selling a 40 inch samsung for 200 dollars. Same with blu-ray players, digital cameras, video game systems and GPS'. 2 years ago Target had a Garmin GPS for 99 dollars which was orginally 250 or 300 I can't remember
And finally media. 20 dollar blu-rays get priced at 5 dollars or below. The lord of the rings trilogy blu-ray box set last year was I think 10 dollars at Target and was originally 50. DVD's get a 1, 2, or 3 dollar price tag. CD's get marked down just as much.... and this also includes video games.
Using your logic Samsung TV's dont sell well. Garmin GPS don't sell well. Dyson vacuums don't sell well even though they keep their price 300-500 dollars every other day of the year
They also don't just do it with items that make good gifts... I bought a nice warm blanket at target for 5 dollars which was orginally 25 dollars last year... unless blankets make good gifts.
