Oh, no. The momentum part is for Animal Crossing.

Pokémon was annouced too late and released too soon, imo.

Just think about it, how many "big" games gets released 4 months after being announced. Dragon Quest 7 now is another one, but it was for that stupid 77777 (the seventh game on the 7 million milestone) reason.

Nice cod sales for Japan. Ouch on Vita.
Sony needs some 'big' announcements for that handheld. (or they're ok with some slow years...)

Yup, plus close proximity with animal crossing.

(a game bigger than Mario Kart, Mario 3D Land and Monster Hunter and even NSMB2).

Not a flop, but they could choose the release time better, imo. Like I said, no big game in january, so far. Maybe even a december 20th game, a week 3DS is lacking releases - probably the only one.

Do you really think so? The previous AC did something like 340k FW, 140k next week and 120k the third week. Accounting for the digital sales, this New Leaf is doing well over twice that. Given that the 3DS isn't quite keeping up with the DS in general, I don't think anyone should have seen this coming at all; it's outright miraculous.

Very good numbers for 3DS, PS3 and PSP, surprising how well it's still going. Sad numbers for Vita and expected sales for Wii and Xbox360.

MW3 reached 107k on 360 and 442k on PS3. This one has a chance of doing 100k on 360 and 500k on PS3.

It's mostly CoD as far as I know. I guess they're growing to like FPS games more than they used to.
