Lego city?..haha .. how sad if it is suppose to be its own GTA lol.. i think that game is just to appeal to the kid audience.. nothing more to it.

Kind of like Nintendo?

what do you mean ? .. Nintendo appeals to everyone.. Grandpas, Grandmas, Mums, Dads, Core, Hardcore, Casuals, Kids, Animals..

kinda thing Sony should be trying to do.. instead of trying to please the elitist which is actually bad business they making sony go bankrupt.. =)

Sony does and pretty much always has made a certain amount of content for "family" audiences. Little Big Planet, Little Big Planet Karting, Jak & Daxster, Wonderbook, Mod Nation Racers, etc. (obviously things like Crash Bandicoot and Spyro back in the day).

The reason Sony is in financial trouble is because of their electronics division and getting routed by competetors like Apple and Samsung in those fields. The game division got itself into trouble by having Blu-Ray forced into the PS3, but the PS3 still has recovered and sold more than any Nintendo console (NES, SNES, N64, GCN) outside of the Wii. It may even have an outside chance of catching the Wii depending on how long it continues to sell for.

I only hope that they follow through with this and give 3rd parties the support they need!

The third parties are getting the support they need. They are being more kind to them then microsoft currently are. They are promoting third party games more through adverts, directs, interviews, demos etc. They are paying them higher royalties for supporting the platform. And they are trying to make their online more appealing to indie devs then microsoft and sony are.

It isn't nintendo at fault. The people complaining about this need to start buying their multiplatform games on nintendo as they are given the option and 'mature' games will stick around. Frankly as far as I'm concerned it is getting too expensive to ignore nintendo anyway.

Well, my problem actually lies within Nintendo (or did with the Wii). The problem was that Wii lacked the power to get good ports, and if the WIi U follow suit we'll have yet another Wii situation - except that WIi U won't be able to sell as well...

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

No worries mate. There will still be plenty of games in development for 360 and ps3 after the others come out. Any one of those can go to wii u. Then there are possible late ports of games still coming out now/early next year.

As for the power thing, the only engine I think wii u can't run is unreal 4. It will depend on who has the guts to leap into major development costs this early. Epic have estimated that development costs could still double as developers get used to unreal 4. Without that it is 4 - 5 times as much. I'm not so sure developers will be so eager to move on this soon. At least not enough to exclude hd platforms from development. Chances are there won't even be an ue4 game until late 2014 anyway.

I dont mean ports i mean new games such as Borderlands 3 not 2,Elder Scrolls 6 not Skyrim, next GTA, heck even the new Dragon Age would be a great appeal to gamers on the Wii U.

If we can get big name titles like these and build the fanbase this system will take off much faster then the Wii did with no 3rd party.

"The reason Sony is in financial trouble is because of their electronics division "<- proof? .. ps3..psp..psv..pspgo... all losses..

"sold more than any Nintendo console (NES, SNES, N64, GCN)" <-- yeh but are you saying ps3 got more profits than what nintendo got from  (NES, SNES, N64, GCN) ?

But I want PS720 ports on Wii U...  Playing certain types of games on PC ain't good enough!! Darksiders on PC really can be a drag...

What I've heard is that UE4 will be extremely scalable, and will be able to run on smartphones. And if a god damn phone can run those games Wii U better be able to

I just finished Darksiders on PC, and it was far from a drag.  Smooth Framerates, sharp graphics, and nice anti-aliasing all around.  I wish DS2 on the WiiU looked as good.

Played with an Xbox360 controller, BTW.  It is the great equalizer between what makes consoles superior and what makes PC superior.

So basically nothing has changed since the Wii and DS.

Miyamoto now sends birthday cards to such folks as Kojima. Whether said birthday is near is irrelevant.
