In my experience, women cheat more often than men, but again I'm not a gay, so my opinion could be very much one-sided.

A man thinks about sex more than a woman does in a given day. During the act of sex however,  if you get a woman aroused she can be hornier than a man. If you have a woman who is a nymph and don't satisfy her, if she doesn't love you, you're fucked. Again, it all depends on the situation. Men and women can both be unfaithful especially in times like these where marriage is a dying institution and women are liberating themselves in more ways than one. If you have a successful woman and you're not a man aspiring for more in most cases you will get passed over for a more capable man. I read recently that much like some first world countries where women are more liberated Japan is also having issues with courting of men 16-21 to women.

My experience is that nowadays men and women are almost equal.

BUT where I do see quite a big difference is when it comes to how they're handling the situation. In the cases I've experienced, the women seemed to act much more strategically.

For example, I knew a group of girls (many of them being already married etc.) who had established their own clever system for cheating on their partners, where the other girls would provide for an almost waterproof alibi whenever one of the girls would spend an evening or night with another guy.

Also, my experience is the women feel less sorry. The guys I know that cheated on their girls were usually significantly plagued by their conscience after doing so. Sooner or later, many of them confessed what they did, not because the truth was about to reveal anyway, but because they wanted to somehow get rid of their feelings of guilt. The cheating girls on the other hand were different: Many of them didn't seem to feel any personal guilt at all - quite the contrary, they often placed the blame completely on their partners. Usually something along the lines of "Well if my boyfriend was more of the ideal partner, I wouldn't have felt any desire to spend time with another man in the first place, right?"

It's just a personal theory, but I believe this is because men and women tend to be prone to cheating on their partners in different situations: I think many men are cheating on their girlfriends when they're actually happy with and have no intentions of leaving her - but they're somehow frightened by the prospect of her being the last women they will have sex with. But cheating on the woman they actually want to stay with causes them feelings of guilt.
The women on the other hand seemed to be prone to cheating on their boyfriends when they were already somewhat disappointed with their current relationship. They don't intend to stay with their current partner forever anyway, so they are kind of just waiting for a better relationship to jump on to. But since in the beginning it's never clear if a relationship with some new guy will really work out, it's better to keep the old relationship as a safety backup until everything is settled.

Overall no. But faithfulness has become a rare trait nowadays unfortunately.

The rate of women cheating has grown steadily over the last few decades, with a lot of researchers believing it has to do with women having more contact with men than previously.  Females are in the workplace in much, much greater numbers now and they have a lot more control over thier time and transportation potential.  At the same time, cheating for women has grown a lot more acceptable, especially if they can cast the person they're cheating on as the villain in some fashion.  It's not uncommon to see women use cheating as a weapon or a method for public revenge, when at one time a cheating female would be a social outcast.

On average women have sex more than guys but that has something to do with women have more opportunities than most guys.

I would say so, yes. So many whores around nowadays.

Another thing to consider with this thread is 99% of us are guys so a lot of us will say that women cheat lol.

Does girl on girl count as cheating, if so women are much bigger whores then men.
