I agree partially, it seems to be getting worse. Perhaps it is that information and surveillance are just so much more advance and available now that it is easier to catch someone. The thing with honor, family, etc., is that it is preached a lot, but isn't really followed as much. Maybe some people are just more open with it now, more so than in past generations. This may have something to do with western influence. |
The rate of women cheating has grown steadily over the last few decades, with a lot of researchers believing it has to do with women having more contact with men than previously. Females are in the workplace in much, much greater numbers now and they have a lot more control over thier time and transportation potential. At the same time, cheating for women has grown a lot more acceptable, especially if they can cast the person they're cheating on as the villain in some fashion. It's not uncommon to see women use cheating as a weapon or a method for public revenge, when at one time a cheating female would be a social outcast.
