I think you're warning is a bit over arching. Examples like Leo-J's and others from the other day are more befitting of spam than just putting a response with QFT or LOL is.

One of the mods was a bit over-eager but I un-banned weezy and superchunk (for now) since I'm not afraid of a bit of criticism.

This isn't meant to target the guy with 80 posts who occassionally posts a short response to a thread, but rather the guys with 1000+ posts who have an average word count of less than 1 per post....
