Forums - Nintendo - Black Ops 2 for WiiU

Just got my WiiU and BO2. Tried to play it with the new gamepad and it was way to difficult to move and  aim. I used the standard control settings with no adjustments and I could not aim to save my life. Literally. I also found it dificult to move around and kept looking at the sky or the ground without meaning to. I went back to the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, and it was so easy to move and aim. Not being a very hardcore gamer, I either suck at using dual sticks for a FPS (have not used this setup since the Gamecube), the default controls are crap and need to be adjusted, or the Wiimote and Nunchuk are just that much better. Can you tell me what you experience is? Is the gamepad the way to go and I just need to get the hang of it?

In the absence of evidence to the contrary, always assume you have the upper hand.

I use Wii Remote/nunchuk but my friend uses the WiiU remote and he said other than the back buttons being lame and him needing to adjust to button placement, the WiiU remote felt good to him.

Pointer controls are awesome...its hard going back to DA, especially after a long time of playing wii games. Also, you may need inversion, i know i do. i invert x and y controls :P

Anyways, the only real benefit of the gamepad is having the full map on it in multi so not really a big deal. Overall, i'd take the pointer controls for this one ^.^

Is it me, or there is always something freaking wrong with third party games whenever they are on Nintendo consoles? All the illusion of a new console launch got me thinking, after first impressions of everybody, that Nintendo or third parties, whenever the blame fits to, don't get a FUCKING CLUE how to work together!

you know the old saying once you go pointer and nunchuck, you never going back to dual sticks.
