I think people are asking for an explanation because sony didnt realy bring anything new this generation besides bluray which hasnt really done anything for gaming.  The most obvious choices here would be 360 and the wii which the wii.  This is just showing how bias people are on this site.  Some people are just trolling the OP but most are just picking there fav console.

Well, the Wii lead to Move and Kinect, and led to more casual gamers, so I would say the Wii as greatly impacted this gen.



 Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

i voted 360 for bringing an amazing online experience to Console users.

Xbox Live is everything i wished for on a Console, its simple, easy and awesome!

Also Halo, Gears of War, Fable and Forza MotorSport are franchises that i love and were amazing this Gen. Well Fable could have been better, i know Fable fans please dont hurt me but its true.

It's worth pointing out that early 360 titles like Gears and Mass Effect were showcases for unreal engine middleware, which ended up becoming a platform unto itself.

True and Halo 3 redefined the online experience along with Cod4 and were both flagship on 360.
