-The Wii U e shop looks nice, full function game available for download.  Some titles are missing such as COD BO2 but they do have a coming soon section where you see games like Tekken Tag.  I am currently buying Sonic All Starts which is only 39.99 at the eShop.  There is a warning at the bottom that you need to have an external harddrive to download games to.

The eshop gives you the option to sync your club nintendo account (I dont have one)

One question, is the eshop similar to the Wii in which you get Nintendo Points? Or is it like the 3DS in which you get money?  This is important to me because I have a Club Nintendo account but I'm not from the US, in the Wii I have no problem buying games with another region, but in the 3DS I can't so all my purchases aren't linked to Club Nintendo  =(

I've seen cards which show the 3DS and WiiU use the same account system, so it's money I'd imagine.

Well I don't think it should make that much of a difference, I'm sure there's work-arounds...maybe try it anyway but I'm 99.9% certain it's done in cash.

Problem is I can't link with the Club Nintendo account. For example, in the Wii to buy points I need to have Mexico as my region because I have a mexican credit card. Then I change to USA to link to Club Nintendo and the Wii Points remain "intact". The problem is that when I do the same in the 3DS, is not points but money, so the money is changed to $0.00.

Maybe not a big deal but still I will have less incentives to buy from the eshop  =(

Has anyone noticed that the load times have gotten shorter than they were initially?

Yes, that's because the online traffic is less intense than it was on the launch. The console itself loads pretty fast.

That's good to hear! Videos showed pretty ridiculous load times so I'm glad they've been shortened now.

Anyone suffered any crashes or problems with Miiverse?

So anyone out for the midnight launch by any chance? Local store isn't doing one...but I'll be there come 8AM!

As an aside; anyone know if the EU consoles will require the huge update or not?

Get mine tomorrow, hope it comes before I go to work :)
