One question, is the eshop similar to the Wii in which you get Nintendo Points? Or is it like the 3DS in which you get money? This is important to me because I have a Club Nintendo account but I'm not from the US, in the Wii I have no problem buying games with another region, but in the 3DS I can't so all my purchases aren't linked to Club Nintendo =(

I've seen cards which show the 3DS and WiiU use the same account system, so it's money I'd imagine.

Well I don't think it should make that much of a difference, I'm sure there's work-arounds...maybe try it anyway but I'm 99.9% certain it's done in cash.
