Those terms were in effect before the ps3 and wii launched.

I do what lemmings means though. How MS quickly killed the xbox and jumped off that to the 360. So they call xbox fans lemmings b/c they jumped off their system. I suppose.

I'm not the one to support that kind of stuff but I've hada GameFAQs account since 2001, ever since the GS merger and the rise of the tacked onGameSpot forums, GS has somehow managed to occupy (or create) the lowest dreck of the far corners of GFAQ forums. And that's quite a feat.  The place is a hellhole. But conceded or not, it's the truth.

Thinking what Sqrl said in context with the thread title, he was talking about (or at least this is the way i understood it) was lifting this site above other sites at their expense, in other words, bashing. You definately know, what kind of site/forum VGChartz has and in order to keep the forum as good as it is, we, the members, have to act in way that it stays like it is. Now, the opinions you see on the "site X" forum, reflects as the whole sites opinions, and i assure you, that by bashing others, you're not going to gain respect or credibility. Just look at things at Neogaf, they definately aren't going to gain any respect with their current way. And lastly, as you propably know, some forums can be considered as public toilets, by looking what people post to those forums, and that's something that no one of us want this sites forum to become. This is why we have moderators, instead of them to make sure that only the "official truth" is being discussed. Of course, you can always critisize other sites/this site, but when critisism becomes bashing, it's gone a little too far.

I think this thread is on the way to being locked. So say what you want before it goes down the drain.

We don't see a lot of complaints about other sites on here except people questioning why such and such site is talking about us behind our backs. Also, everyone is welcome as long as they treat people with respect. It doesn't matter what system you support or what not. People aren't overly rude to you about your system choice. Most of the time you'll hear a lot of people ask you questions about what you like about your system etc. to help other people with their decisions.

Anyway, I think we've all read the Gamespot fiasco nonsense on other boards. We don't need to bring it up anymore. I think everyone here already knows the open issues.
